Meanwhile, the adventurers, including Goblin Slayer, arrive in town and decide to stay at the temple. They split up, with some heading to a tavern while others, including the Priestess and the High Elf Archer, visit a bathhouse.

In the tavern, Goblin Slayer, the Dwarf Shaman, and the Lizard Priest engage in a deep conversation about the nature of duty and life. Goblin Slayer mentions that he hasn’t been able to focus on killing goblins lately, leading to a philosophical discussion about the meaning and challenges of life.
