The episode begins with a meeting at the royal palace, where the king discusses a task for the adventurers of the Silver Rank and a separate task for the hero and his companions. The hero's group is tasked with investigating a fiery stone that fell from the sky onto the sacred mountain.

Meanwhile, Goblin Slayer and his group, consisting of the Priestess, the High Elf Archer, the Dwarf Shaman, and the Lizardman Priest, prepare for their mission to rescue the kidnapped princess. They receive a map of the dungeon from the Sword Maiden, who was formerly responsible for drawing maps. Additionally, the Sword Maiden gives them a blue ribbon, which serves as a key to delve deep into the dungeon.

Along the way, they come across clues pointing to the princess's abduction, including footprints of goblins and wolves.

Goblin Slayer and his team discuss their strategy for infiltrating the Dungeon of the Dead. They decide to sneak in stealthily and avoid using spells as much as possible. The team navigates through the dungeon and encounters goblins they must fight.

In a parallel scene, the hero's group encounters a monstrous creature on the sacred mountain and debates its nature and the strategy to defeat it.

Back in the dungeon, Goblin Slayer's group finds the princess, who is being abused as a sacrifice for a ritual. They engage in a fierce battle with the goblins, during which the Priestess uses her powers to cleanse the area of corruption.

By the end of the episode, the adventurers succeed in rescuing the princess and defeating the goblins.
