"God's Game We Play" with new cast and first promotional video

The TV anime "God's Game We Play" has announced new cast members, the first promotional video, and details about the theme song.

The story revolves around humans known as "Apostles," who are endowed by the gods with various abilities called "divine curses" to conquer the mind game "The Gods' Play." The game promises immeasurable blessings to anyone who achieves ten victories. At the center of the plot are the human Faye, known as "the greatest rookie," and the former goddess girl Leoreishe, who embark on this challenging journey.

Additional cast members include Hinata Tachibana as Pearl Diamond, a user of transfer abilities who decides to retire after a failure; Kanna Nakamura as Nel Reckless, a young former Apostle ace who suffered three defeats and withdrew; and Ami Koshimizu as Miranda, a career woman working as the administrative head of the Ruins Department of the Mystic Courts.

The opening theme is "NewGame" by AliA, while the ending theme is "I'm GAME!" performed by Hinata Tachibana, who voices Pearl. The first PV features the song "NewGame," introducing the various characters of the series.

"God's Game We Play" is set to air from April 2024 and is produced by Liden Films. Nobunaga Shimazaki voices Faye, while Akari Kitō voices Leoreishe.
