"Grand Blue" Season 3: M·A·O Voices Karina – Teaser PV Shows New Adventures in Palau

The third season of the anime adaptation of "Grand Blue Dreaming" (original title: "Grand Blue") has released a new teaser trailer. At the same time, it was announced that voice actress M·A·O is joining the cast as the character Karina. Season 3 is scheduled to start in July 2026.

The teaser trailer begins with a scene hinting at a "certain problem" of Yamamoto's and shows, alongside the familiar members from Izu, first impressions of the new settings on the South Sea island of Palau.

The newly introduced character Karina is a German woman whom Iori meets during his trip to his hometown. She is a member of an otaku circle and harbors a great passion for a specific aspect of Japanese culture. M·A·O commented on her role: "The discrepancy between Karina's outward appearance and her inner self is very impactful, and I find her to be a very fascinating character. I did my best to properly portray the passion that bursts forth from her gentle and modest demeanor. I look forward to the audience enjoying this contrast."

In the third season, the story moves abroad for the first time. The plot continues to follow university student Iori, who lives at a dive shop in Izu, and his circle of friends as they experience new adventures this time in Palau.
