The third season of the anime «Grand Blue Dreaming» (Japanese: «ぐらんぶる») will start on July 6, 2026, on Japanese broadcasters Tokyo MX, BS11, MBS, and AT-X. Coinciding with the announcement, the production team released the main promotional video (Main PV), showcasing the first story scenes from the new season.

The clip begins with Iori Kitahara and his friends heading to Iori's parents' house to get his passport, as the story takes the characters abroad for the first time – to the Pacific island of Palau. There, they are supposed to support the diving base "Dolphin" with personnel. However, the plans are thrown into disarray when Iori's sister Shiori refuses to hand over the passport. At the same time, a mysterious German travel group led by Karina (voiced by M·A·O) storms into the house and causes chaos.

The trailer also offers a first listen to the two new songs: The opening «Natsuko» is by FUNKY MONKEY BΛBY'S, while the ending «Hadaka no Māmeido» (Naked Mermaid) is performed by the idol group MAMESHiBA NO TAiGUN (豆柴の大群) and produced by comedian Kuro-chan.

In addition to the already known voice actors such as Yūma Uchida (Iori), Ryōhei Kimura (Kōhei), Chika Anzai (Chisa), and Maaya Uchida (Nanaka), new voices join the cast: Sayaka Ōhara as Sayaka Kotegawa, Asami Seto as Chief, and Aya Suzaki as Maki. The series is based on the manga of the same name by Kenji Inoue and Kimitake Yoshioka, which has been serialized in Kōdansha's magazine Good! Afternoon since 2014 and has sold over ten million copies worldwide.

Direction, script, and sound direction remain in the hands of Shinji Takamatsu (known for «Gintama»), as in the previous seasons. The animation is handled by studios Zero-G and Saber Works, with music composed by Yukari Hashimoto. The production is overseen by the Grand Blue 3 committee.

Season 3 takes the story overseas for the first time – to Palau. Fans can look forward to the usual over-the-top mix of diving adventures, alcohol-fueled parties, and absurd humor.
