"Grendizer U" with new actors, first promo video and title songs

The TV anime "Grendizer U," a reboot of the 1975-1977 anime "UFO Robo Grendizer," is set to air in 2024. It depicts the fierce battle between humanity and the Vega Star Alliance Army, which attacks Earth with massive forces. The TV anime recently released its first promotional video, cast information, and theme song details.

New Cast Members

- Ayane Sakura as Naida Baron: A member of the noble Baron family who serves the royal family of Planet Fleed.

- Yuma Uchida as Casado Zeora Howaita: Obsessed with the prince of Planet Fleed, Duke.

- Show Hayami as Yumizenosuke: A student of Professor Juzo Kabuto, the head of the Photon Power Laboratory.

- Takuya Kirimoto as Genzo Umon: Deputy head of the Photon Power Laboratory and Duke's adoptive father.

Additional new cast members include Takeshi Kusao as Commander Gandar, who shares a body with another character, Lady Gandar, played by Akane Watanabe. Blacky, the loyal leader of the assault force, is played by Wataru Takagi, and Zril, the head of the scientific division of the Vega Star Union's Integrated Development Office, is portrayed by Tomokazu Seki.

The anime, directed by Mitsuo Fukuda, known for "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" and "Future GPX Cyber Formula," features character designs by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto ("Neon Genesis Evangelion," "Summer Wars") and music by Kouhei Tanaka, renowned for his work on "ONE PIECE" and the "Sakura Wars" series.
