Gundam Build Metaverse, a three-episode series, will premiere on October 6. It tells the story of Rio Hōjō, a Hawaiian teenager who is introduced to the craft of assembling Gundam models, known as Gunpla, by a local builder named Seria Urutsuki. A mysterious figure called Mask Lady nurtures Rio's skills in the Metaverse, an online world where Gunpla enthusiasts can participate in battles. The voices of these characters are provided by Chika Anzai as Rio Hōjō and Rio Tsuchiya as Seria Urutsuki.

The musical elements of the anime are composed by Yuki Hayashi. The series will feature an opening theme titled "Hikari to Kaze," performed by the band BACK-ON, and an ending theme titled "Days of Birth," brought to life by LINKL PLANET.

The series is directed by Masami Obari, who has extensive experience with the Gundam Build franchise. Obari has taken on various roles across episodes and sequences of the series, including storyboard artist, animation director, and action director. Noboru Kimura returns to write the script. The character designs are a collaborative effort by Hirona Okada, Yoriko Gotō, and Ippei Gyōbu, while Kenichi Ōnuki oversees the designs.
