The TV anime "Gushing Over Magical Girls," based on the original work by Akira Ononaka, is set to premiere in January 2024. Along with this announcement, the second wave of information about the characters, the main visual, and the first promotional video have been released.

The story revolves around an ordinary girl named Utena Hiiragi, who dreams of becoming a magical girl. Her life takes a comedic turn when a mysterious mascot named Venarita transforms her into the female leader of an evil organization called Enormita. The cast includes Aoi Koga as Kiwi Arakawa/Leoparto, a member of Enormita who joins Utena's class, and Shiori Sugiura as Korisu Morino/Neroalice, who becomes Utena and Kiwi's classmate after being invited by Venarita. Other roles feature Miyuko Kazama as Sayo Suigami/Magia Azure and Misa Ikeda as Kaoru Amakawa/Magia Sulfur.

The main visual depicts a showdown between the magical girls of Tres Magia and the Enormita team led by Utena. A portion of the opening theme "My dream girls," sung by NACHERRY, can also be heard.
