The light novel series "Haibara-kun no Tsuyokute Seishun New Game" by Kazuki Amamiya is being adapted into a television anime. The series is scheduled to debut in April 2026 on the broadcaster TBS and other channels. At the same time, the main voice cast, production team, a first key visual, and a teaser trailer were released.

The plot is a school romantic comedy that begins with the protagonist Natsuki Haibara, whose high school debut failed and who experienced a gloomy youth. One day, he jumps back from his life as a fourth-year university student to the beginning of his high school days. The story shows how he lives his youth a second time.

The voice actors for the main roles were announced:

- Yūshō Uemura as Natsuki Haibara
- Kanon Takao as Hikari Seimiya

The series is directed by Misuzu Hoshino. The series composition is by Keiichirō Ōchi, the character design by Hiromi Ono, and the music by Sosuke Takao. The animation production is handled by Studio Comet.
