In the kingdom of Redia, a land where witches are hunted, the ice witch Chloe Morgan and her apprentice Adonis are on the run. Chloe uses a self-built smartphone that cannot be tracked to find her way. Her goal is to cross the border and find a place where witches are accepted.

Along the way, Adonis expresses his frustration at not being allowed to use magic. Chloe explains that he is too inexperienced. Soon, they fall into an ambush by the military, which Chloe manages to fend off with her ice magic. Emperor Goethe of the Redia Empire orders Chloe to be captured.

Suddenly, Chloe and Adonis are teleported to the central square of the capital, where Emperor Goethe delivers a speech about humanity's victory over witches through technology. Chloe and Adonis are captured, and Chloe's magic is neutralized by a device. Chloe pleads for Adonis' life, claiming he is her human slave to save him. Just as the two are about to be executed, they are teleported away.

The scene shifts 10 years later to a prisoner camp called Mayhem Internment Camp. A prisoner named Doroka is seen sharing her food. She is summoned by the prison director for an unknown purpose but manages to escape. With the help of a mysterious voice authentication, she opens all the prison cells, leading to a mass breakout.

The episode ends in the chaos of the camp.
