Adonis and Doroka reach the city-state of Mamuta and come across an immigration gate. Doroka, who knows Adonis' tendency for confrontation, is worried about the potential dangers in the city, which appears to be in a dilapidated state.

In Mamuta, they encounter a woman who behaves unpredictably. Adonis quickly realizes that she is not human but a Madoa, a kind of mechanical doll created for the entertainment of humans. This realization leads to the discovery that the city is populated by these Madoas, all of whom possess human-like traits and desires.

Adonis recounts the tragic history of Mamuta. In search of pleasure, the city traded humans for these mechanical dolls from the realm of Redia. This exchange led to the downfall of the city, as the absence of humans meant no new generation could be born.

Adonis decides to build an improvised electromagnetic pulse (EMP) device to deactivate the Madoas and mercifully end their existence. Doroka assists him, as she understands the necessity of this action but is also concerned for the well-being of the Madoas.

As they prepare to activate the EMP, Shirousagi, an important figure from Redia, appears. He announces his intention to capture Adonis, seeing him as a valuable asset in the ongoing power struggles.

The episode ends with Adonis recognizing Shirousagi as an enemy.
