In Episode 10, Touka and his companions—Seras, Eve, Lis, Piggymaru, and the newly born eight-legged horse Slei—continue their journey through the land of golden-eyed monsters toward the Witch of Taboos.

They encounter various monsters, including a lizard with a seaweed-like head. Touka uses his abilities such as paralysis, poison, sleep, and berserker to defeat them but notices these creatures are weaker than those he faced before. He gathers ingredients from the defeated monsters to enhance Piggymaru and craft forbidden items.

The group senses a mysterious presence, which turns out to be an egg from which Slei hatches. Slei can transform by absorbing magic and becomes a valuable companion, helping them travel more efficiently. Along the way, Touka notices a strange light in the direction of Alion, where the goddess Vicius resides.

Meanwhile, Kirihara, frustrated at being underestimated, demonstrates his power by defeating massive monsters with his unique ability, the Draconic Buster. Hijiri and Itsuki investigate spies who may be connected to the goddess.

Back with Touka’s group, they traverse difficult terrain and face various challenges. At night, Touka silently slays a beast with a human face, prompting Seras to worry that he’s taking on too much by himself. As they near their destination, they are suddenly ambushed by a monstrous creature. Although Eve kills it, Touka feels an overwhelming dread as countless monsters begin closing in on him from all directions.
