In the fourth episode, Touka reaches the bustling city of Mils to explore the nearby ruins. After a brief conversation with the city guard, who gladly welcomes mercenaries, he secures a room at an inn. Despite initial skepticism due to his appearance, Touka gets a room and inquires about cleaning facilities.

While exploring the city, Touka notices the typical fantasy elements and adventurer guilds. In a tavern, he overhears conversations about the powerful factions and knights of the continent, which provide him with useful information for his further plans.

His main goal is to improve his companion Piggymaru by creating a solution from the bone powder of a Skeleton King, which can be found in the ruins of Mils. Touka learns about a new floor in the ruins and an expedition led by Marquis Hurkley, who offers a substantial reward for finding the Dragon's Eye Chalice.

During the registration for the expedition, a confrontation arises with Droghetti, who mistakenly believes a woman to be the famous elven knight's wife, Seras Ashrain. In reality, it is Seras, traveling under the pseudonym Mist Balukas and hiding her identity with a spell. Touka and Seras decide to cooperate for mutual benefit.

Humiliated by Seras, Droghetti hires adventurers to kill her. Touka intervenes and neutralizes the attackers. Using his paralysis and poisoning abilities, he defeats the monsters in the ruins. Along the way, he hears rumors about strange monster deaths, which are attributed to his actions. During his journey, he finds the Dragon's Eye Chalice and generously offers it to Seras. In response, Seras suggests protecting Touka, and the two agree on the terms of their partnership. She is determined to repay her debt, while Touka insists on not asking questions about her past.

Touka's suspicion is confirmed when the true identity of his companion is revealed to be Seras Ashrain.
