Mb | Aug 11, 2024 | Reading Time: 3 Min.
Touka instructs Seras to disguise herself so that she won't be recognized by the residents of Mils and reveals a plan to seek refuge with the elusive Witch of Taboos. Touka plans to travel to the land of monsters to study an ancient scripture, and they renew their agreement to support each other.
Their conversation is interrupted by Gizun, who is quickly overpowered by Touka. Gizun reveals that someone wants Seras dead. Suddenly, the scene shifts as Civit Gartland, known as "the Strongest of Humanity," appears. Civit's white robe and glowing red eyes make him an imposing figure. He demands the surrender of Seras and the strongest warriors of her kind.
Seras is shocked when Civit reveals that the invasion of Neah was triggered by her refusal to hand over a holy paladin to the Goddess Vicius. Civit loses interest in Seras and turns to Touka, who boldly introduces himself as Touka Mimori, a hero from another world. Touka proposes a deal: Civit will spare them for now, and in return, Touka will grow stronger and eventually challenge Civit to a duel to the death.
Civit is fascinated by Touka's confidence and agrees to the deal. But Touka has another plan. As soon as Civit lets his guard down, Touka uses his abilities to paralyze and poison him. Despite Civit's strength, he cannot withstand Touka's combined assault of paralysis and poison. Touka seizes the opportunity to eliminate the threat posed by Civit and the Knights of the Black Dragon once and for all.
After Civit and his knights are neutralized, Touka turns to Seras. He reassures her that they have formed an alliance and emphasizes the importance of her strength on the journey to the land of the golden-eyed monsters. Seras, grateful for Touka's efforts, vows to support him in his campaign of revenge against the Goddess Vicius.
The episode also introduces new characters, such as Nyantan Kikipat, a follower of the Goddess Vicius tasked with overseeing the summoned heroes.
