In this episode, Seras faces Muaji, the leader of the Ashint soldiers. Muaji reveals his intention to capture Seras and his companions with powerful curses. He claims to belong to a guild of reborn assassins, known for their deadly, undetectable poisons disguised as curses. Through this deception, they were able to claim credit for the death of the Five Dragoners and solidify their fearsome reputation.

As the situation escalates, Seras appears to comply with Muaji's demands but skillfully leads him into a trap. Muaji, distrusting Seras' true intentions, orders his men to retreat and prepare for battle. However, Seras' ally Touka reveals that this, too, is part of a more intricate plan, exploiting Muaji's paranoia to cripple his ability to analyze the situation correctly.

Touka employs his own unique "curse" abilities, such as paralysis, to swiftly incapacitate Muaji's forces, revealing that he had already taken out a group of Ashint soldiers while Muaji was distracted. During the battle, Touka exposes Muaji's arrogance and successfully counters his strategies, forcing Muaji onto the defensive.

By the end of the fight, Touka and Seras celebrate their victory. They discuss the future of their mercenary group and decide to give themselves a new name: "The War Band of the Lord of the Flies."

The episode concludes with a hint of looming danger, as the goddess Vicius prepares for a major confrontation with the forces of the Great Demon Empire.
