Ikusaba, also known as Asagi, warns Kashima that their class is fracturing into factions due to the hierarchy. Asagi urges Kashima to join her group, emphasizing how crucial alliances are for survival and future status.

Meanwhile, Sogou confronts the goddess Vicius and expresses her resistance to the kingdom's brutal policies. Vicius dismisses her concerns but is fascinated by Sogou's determination to protect her comrades.

In another part of the forest, the princess and knight Seras attempts to escape the Holy Guardians, a group of powerful enemies. Touka Mimori, who has now reached an extremely high level, uses his abilities to paralyze the guardians. He questions Seras, who provides him with crucial information about the ancient script Touka is trying to decipher. She mentions the Witch of Taboos, a wise figure banished to the land of the golden-eyed monsters.

The episode ends with Touka and Seras parting ways, each on their own mission. Touka decides to continue his personal quest for revenge, now armed with new knowledge and a reluctant ally in the form of his new slime companion, Piggymaru.
