The episode begins with Helck, Anne, and Piwi traveling through the remnants of two destroyed kingdoms. They were warned about a "warrior of darkness" roaming the area but decide to press on due to time constraints. As they pass through the ruins, they sense a menacing presence and soon come face-to-face with the warrior of darkness himself.

The warrior attacks them with incredible speed and strength. Helck decides to confront the warrior and orders Anne and Piwi to flee. Despite Helck's power, the warrior seems unbeatable and even regenerates his shattered sword. Anne realizes that the warrior is under a spell similar to Azudra's and that they cannot defeat him without knowing the caster.

Just as the situation grows dire, Piwi begins to sing a song, which surprisingly halts the warrior's aggression. The warrior regains his senses and reveals that he became a warrior of darkness to protect his people during a war that spiraled out of control due to forbidden magic known as the "Hex of Darkness."

At that moment, a woman named Iris appears and introduces herself as the warrior's sister. She explains that her brother, despite being cursed, saved many lives, including hers. The warrior, whose name is Augis, gives Helck a cursed yet powerful weapon as a farewell before crumbling to dust, his duty fulfilled.

The episode ends with Helck, Anne, and Piwi continuing their journey, reflecting on the emotional reunion between Iris and Augis.
