The long-awaited TV adaptation of the manga "Helck" by Nanaki Nanao has finally announced its full cast and crew. The anime's official website released the information on Friday along with a preview of the July premiere date, an exciting trailer, and images.

Nanaki Nanao is credited as the creator of the project, while Shō Kobayashi oversees collaboration with the original work. The anime is directed by Tatsuo Satō and produced by Satelight, with Toshizo Nemoto and Mitsutaka Hirota handling the script. The character design is by Yoshinori Deno, and the soundtrack is composed by Yoshihisa Hirano.

Viz Media has released the manga in English and provides the following summary: "Three months have passed since the Demon Lord was defeated, and a tournament is being held to choose his successor. The leading candidate is Helck, a human hero who claims to hate his own kind. But not everyone is happy with the idea of a human becoming the next Demon Lord, especially Vermilio the Red. She is determined to prove that Helck is their enemy, even if it means rigging the competition."

The manga was serialized from 2014 to 2017 in 12 volumes by Shogakukan.
