Comprehensive production details have been released for the upcoming anime series "Hell Mode: Yarikomizuki no Gamer wa Haiseki no Isekai de Musō Suru". A key visual, a first promotional video, and information about the staff and additional cast members are now available.
The story begins with office worker Yamada Ken'ichi, who, after monotonous gaming experiences, is reborn in the world as a farm boy named Allen. The story develops into an adventure in a fantasy world with supernatural elements.
The released key visual shows the characters Allen, Crena, Dogora, and Cecil together with various summoned creatures in a fantasy landscape. The first promotional video contains the characters' voices for the first time. The sequence shows, under the musical accompaniment of the opening theme "Haku" by Atarayo, various scenes: the protagonist's rebirth in the new world, the application of his abilities as a summoner, and the shared experiences with his companions. For the ending, the title "Sanctuary" by Kana was selected.
Additional cast members have been confirmed for the roles of Allen's family members. Ishikawa Hideharu plays the father Rodan, Ōhara Sayaka takes on the mother Theresia, and Koichi Makoto lends his voice to the younger brother Mash.
The animation is being produced at Yokohama Animation Laboratory under the direction of Tamagawa Mahito. The series composition is by Tanimura Daishirō, while the character design is by Tsushima Kei.
