Hikari no Sono Saki ni – Beyond the Light: Anime Adaptation Announced

The plot of the work focuses on the delicate relationship between an introverted student and a young woman who has lost her eyesight. An anime adaptation of this story has now been confirmed in the form of a television series.

The voice roles of the two main characters will be performed by Miyu Irino and Saori Hayami. In further roles, among others, Konomi Kohara and Yohei Azakami can be heard.

Yoshiyuki Yoshizaki is responsible for the direction. The series concept comes from Yuko Kakihara. The character design is being realized jointly by Yoshihiro Sawada and Yuzuki Ishii. The animation production has been commissioned to Studio Makaria.

First published materials include a main visual motif showing a light reflection in the heroine's eye, as well as an announcement video clip incorporating live-action sequences.
