In Episode 5, Terakomari Gandesblood is introduced to her own merchandise by Caostel, much to her displeasure. Despite her reluctance, she learns that the T-shirts featuring her likeness are selling well. A confrontation quickly arises with Flute Mascarail, a member of the Seven Crimson Lords, who questions Komari’s strength and position.

Empress Karen summons Komari to discuss an urgent matter: a series of high-profile murders within the empire, including that of a Crimson Lord, allegedly the work of a terrorist who employs core implosion. Komari is tasked with apprehending the terrorist, a mission she initially resists but ultimately accepts when promised a week of vacation as a reward.

Komari is to team up with Sakuna Memoir, another Crimson Lord who seeks redemption after being murdered by the terrorist. Despite her apparent weakness, Sakuna is determined to prove her worth and capture the terrorist to avoid the disgrace of being executed for incompetence.

The two Crimson Lords plan to patrol the Mulnite Palace at night, where the terrorist is most active. Komari, who prefers not to work too much, is horrified by the long hours but is persuaded to carry out the mission.

The episode takes a turn when Flute Mascarail attacks Komari’s subordinates, leading to a heated confrontation. Flute announces her intention to file a motion of no confidence against Komari at the upcoming conference of the seven crimson lords, which could result in her execution.

Sakuna reveals her nuclear implosion ability, "Pandora’s Gift," which allows her to predict the future of anyone who drinks her blood. She foresees that Komari will be denounced at the conference and, if the majority votes against her, executed in an explosion.

By the end of the episode, Komari and Sakuna strengthen their bond, with Sakuna affectionately calling Komari "Big Sis."
