HIME Kishi-Sama No Himo (The Princess Knight’s Kept Man)-new anime adaptation confirmed

The fantasy novel series Hime Kishi-sama no Himo by Tohru Shirogane is being adapted into an animation project. The original story focuses on a former adventurer named Matthew, who hides his true abilities and is "kept" by the fallen knightly noble Aluwin as a seemingly good-for-nothing. Aluwin herself is a fallen princess who has lost her homeland and must now face various challenges together with Matthew.

The production is handled by BLADE. Chihiro Kumano is directing, while Deko Akao is in charge of series composition, and Hisao Ishii contributes the character designs. Ishii created a special illustration to mark the start of the adaptation, depicting Aluwin and Matthew in a dynamic moment.

Reprising their leading roles are Junichi Suwabe and Mikako Komatsu, who previously voiced Matthew and Aluwin in an earlier promotional video. Both expressed their excitement about the opportunity to bring their characters to life once again.
