The TV anime "Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable!", based on the work by Kai Ikarada, will premiere on January 8, 2024. The series has also released its second promotional video, featuring the opening song "Super Cute Gal" by Masayoshi Oishi and the ending song "Wayawayawa!", sung by Asaka.

Masayoshi Oishi, who also goes by Masayoshi Ooishi, collaborated with Ikarada on the music production. He expressed his enthusiasm with the words: "It was as if we were composing together, which led to a passionate creation of the main theme! The ending theme 'Wayawayawa!' was written, composed, and arranged by Oishi under his real name, Masayoshi Oishi. Asaka commented on the song with the bittersweet feelings one experiences when unable to confess their love despite being aware of it.
