NAZ is animating the series in collaboration with production company Jumondo. Hajime Hatakeyama is the character designer, and Takatsugu Wakabayashi is composing the music. Additional staff includes Minoru Okochi as art director, Ryūsuke Araki as color designer, Toshikazu Kuno as director of photography, and Yuichi Imaizumi as sound director at Sonilude. Rina Koguchi is in charge of editing, and Yasuyuki Konno handles sound effects.

Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the English version of the manga and describes the series as follows:

College student Amamiya Yuuhi is average in every way: grades, looks, and his jaded outlook on life. So what happens when one day he’s woken up by a talking lizard who informs him there’s a giant hammer in outer space threatening to split the Earth apart—and asks for his help to fight the forces of evil? Pretend it never happened! Unfortunately for Yuuhi, a little coercion in the form of a superpowered princess keeps him from returning to his mediocre life.

In the adventure of a lifetime, Yuuhi teams up with the unpredictable princess and gathers a motley crew of allies to stand against an evil magician and his terrifyingly powerful homunculus before the Biscuit Hammer destroys the planet!
