"Hyakushō Kizoku": Fourth Season of the Anime Series Officially Confirmed

The fourth season of the anime adaptation of Hiromu Arakawa's popular essay manga series "Hyakushō Kizoku" ("The Peasant Aristocrat") has been officially announced. According to the original Japanese article, production of "Hyakushō Kizoku 4th Season" is already underway. While an exact start date for the new episodes has not yet been set, there will be a rerun of the second season before the fourth season airs. This rerun will begin on July 2 at 9:54 PM (Japan local time) on the TOKYO MX channel.

The anime series is based on an autobiographical manga by "Fullmetal Alchemist" creator Hiromu Arakawa, in which she recounts her seven years as a farmer in Hokkaido before becoming known as a manga artist. The series is published in the magazine "WINGS" (Shinshokan Publishing) and has sold over 5.2 million copies to date.

The first season started in July 2023, the second followed in October 2024, and the third season aired from October 2025. Coinciding with the announcement of the fourth season, the ninth manga volume has also been released. The special edition includes a DVD with all twelve episodes of the third season, as well as two previously unaired episodes featuring guest voice actors Shō Hayami and Yumiri Hanamori.
