Hypnosis Mic - Division Rap Battle - Rhyme Anima prepared for premiere in October

The second season of the popular anime Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- Rhyme Anima will premiere in October of this year. The staff recently revealed a teaser promotional video and teaser visual for the upcoming season, Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- Rhyme Anima+, confirming the cast and staff involved.



The main cast for the second season includes six additional franchise members, including Subaru Kimura, Haruki Ishiya, Kōhei Amasaki, Shintarō Asanuma, Wataru Komada, and Shin'ichirō Kamio, among others. The key staff for the season consists of director Katsumi Ono, series script supervisor Shin Yoshida, character designers Minako Shiba and Rina Morita, as well as chief animation directors Rina Morita and Hitomi Ochiai. The animation production for the second season will be handled by A-1 Pictures.

All main staff members are returning from the first season, with Rina Morita transitioning from her role as episode animation director and key animator to her current position.

Launched in September 2017, the rap project Hypnosis Mic features voice actors rapping as original characters. The project spans a variety of media, including multiple manga tie-ins, a mobile game, stage plays, and live events.
