"I Am Behemoth Of The S Rank Monster, But I Am Mistaken As A Cat And I Live As A Pet Of Elf Girl" reveals new cast, opening theme and first promo video

The TV anime "I Am Behemoth Of The S Rank Monster, But I Am Mistaken As A Cat And I Live As A Pet Of Elf Girl" will premiere in January 2025. The fantasy series, based on the work by Taro Shinonome and Nozomi Gin-yoku, follows a protagonist who is reborn as a young Behemoth, an S-rank monster. Despite his terrifying appearance, he is mistaken for a cat and eventually lives as a pet and knight of an elf girl.

Additional cast members recently announced include Nonoka Ōbuchi as Riri, a high elf from the elf tribe, and Yū Wakui as Feri, a high dryad from the same tribe. Ōbuchi will also compose and arrange the anime's opening theme, "Supreme Heart," which comes from Enon Kawatani, known for his work with bands such as Gesu no Kiwami Otome and indigo la End. The anime's music was composed by Yūsuke Shirato and Oni. Parts of the soundtrack can be heard in the first promotional video, including the title theme.

The anime, directed by Tetsuo Hirakawa and with series composition by Kanichi Katō, is a joint production by Zero-G and Saber Works. The main cast includes Yū Hatanaka, Riho Sugiyama, Hinaki Yano, Tomori Kusunoki, and Hitomi Ueda.
