"I Became a Teacher at a Yokai School!" Teaser trailer and cast announced

The first video for the TV anime "I Became a Teacher at a Yokai School!," based on the original work by Mai Tanaka, has been released. Additionally, it has been announced that Jun Fukuyama will voice the role of the principal of Hyakki Academy.

The school comedy follows the shy and easily frightened protagonist Seimei Abe, who fulfills his dream of becoming a teacher but is assigned to a school for yokai, supernatural beings. Ryota Ohsaka plays Seimei Abe. Previously announced cast members include Ryota Suzuki as the plague god Sano Mikoto, Reon Taniyama as the tanuki yokai Tanizuka Mamekichi, Akari Kito as the zashiki-warashi Zashiki Beniko, Haruna Ayasaka as the gashadokuro Utagawa Kuniko, Shun Horie as the shuten-doji Kamiki Rintaro, and Ryota Iwasaki as the kamaitachi Hatanaka Izuna. With Jun Fukuyama as the principal, the main cast is now complete.

The trailer begins with scenes depicting a refreshing school life but quickly shifts to the unique and diverse yokai students as Seimei opens the classroom door. The video showcases the characters in action along with their voices, capturing the comedic and supernatural elements of the series.

The animation is produced by Satelight and directed by Katsumi Ono, known for his work on the series "Symphogear."
