Yuuya, Lexia, and Luna become entangled in a royal scandal after uncovering an assassination attempt on Princess Lexia orchestrated by her own brother. Meanwhile, the royal guard, Owen, and Yuuya are tasked with protecting Lexia and helping to resolve the looming rebellion.

Having only experienced the interior of the royal palace since his arrival in the capital, Yuuya gets the chance to explore the city when Lexia and Luna insist on a sightseeing tour. Despite their concerns about potential dangers, they argue that any new assassins sent by Lexia’s brother would reveal their location. However, this tour is not free from underlying rivalry, as both Lexia and Luna want to spend time alone with Yuuya.

Later, the group visits the adventurer’s guild, where Yuuya and Luna register as adventurers. During the registration, a minor incident occurs when Yuuya unexpectedly shatters a crystal used to measure magical energy, hinting at his extraordinary abilities. Yuuya and Luna receive their guild cards and are introduced to the rules and expectations of the guild by Emilia, the receptionist.

For their first quest, Lexia suggests gathering a medicinal herb called "Heal Herb." The group heads outside the city, turning their mission into a friendly competition as Lexia and Luna compete to see who can collect the herb most accurately.

Suddenly, their peaceful outing is interrupted when Owen locates Lexia’s brother. They rush to his remote estate, only to find that he has fallen victim to a mysterious masked figure. The figure claims responsibility for the assassination attempt and declares their intent to spread chaos and death. A fierce battle ensues, during which the assassin seems to predict the group’s movements.

However, Yuuya manages to outmaneuver the attacker and save the day. The episode ends on a cliffhanger as the mysterious figure identifies Yuuya by name, suggesting that their encounter was more than just a coincidence.
