The setting of Episode 8 is a study trip outside the campus, where Yuuya and his classmates are put to the test on how to survive in the wild by gathering mushrooms and wild vegetables to cook a meal. The plot unfolds as Yuuya showcases his talent for fishing by catching fish bare-handed—an impressive demonstration of his physical abilities. The group's culinary efforts take center stage next. Yuuya proves his cooking skills by whipping up a delicious dish from the gathered ingredients. The dish impresses everyone, from his classmates to their teachers. His cooking skills are even so highly regarded that Ms. Sawada, the teacher, jokingly proposes to him.

When the group wakes up the next morning, they discover that their camp has been raided and their collected ingredients stolen. Undeterred, the group sets out to gather new ingredients, encountering a bear along the way. The ensuing chaos gives Yuuya another opportunity to showcase his abilities as he protects Ms. Sawada from the bear. The successful capture of the bear becomes the highlight of the off-campus excursion. To the students' relief, the bear is subsequently adopted by the academy as a "guard bear."

The episode concludes with a preview of the next story arc in the other world. Yuuya prepares to meet Lexia and her entourage and accompany them back to her palace. However, trouble seems to be brewing as an initially unknown individual attacks Lexia again, setting the stage for further exciting developments.
