The official website for the anime adaptation of the light novel series "I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince So I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability" (known as "Tensei Shitara Dainana Ōji Datta no de, Kimamani Majutsu o Kiwamemasu" in Japanese) by Kenkyo na Circle recently unveiled a teaser trailer. This trailer offers a glimpse of the characters Tao and Ren and reveals that the anime will premiere in April 2024. The series will be available for streaming on Crunchyroll simultaneously with its broadcast in Japan.



In the upcoming series, voice actors Makoto Koichi and Fairouz Ai will breathe life into the characters Lloyd and Grim, respectively. Jin Tamamura is the designated director for the anime, with the series being developed at Tsumugi Akita Anime Lab. The task of creating the music for the series has been assigned to musician R.O.N from STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION.

The anime adaptation is based on the light novels by Kenkyo na Circle, which have been serialized on the website Shōsetsuka ni Narō (Let's Become Novelists) since October 2019 and have been published by Kodansha with illustrations by Meru since July 2020. The story revolves around Prince Lloyd, who, despite being a prince, has vivid memories of his previous life as a sorcerer. After his reincarnation, he decides to continue his magical studies regardless of his royal status while simultaneously facing the trials of his new life, including the challenges that come with being a ten-year-old.

A manga adaptation of the novels was launched by Yōsuke Kokuzawa and character designer Meru in 2020 via Kodansha's Magazine Pocket app. The 11th compiled volume of the manga was released on May 9.
