Galilea receives a letter from the Assassin's Guild bearing Jade's seal. The letter reveals that Jade has overthrown the rulers of Lordost and now invites his friends to celebrate with him at the prince's estate. Ren and Galilea rejoice at Jade's return. They plan a journey to him and thank Lloyd for his help in controlling their curses.

During the journey, Lloyd points out the complexity of teleportation and hints that Jade has regained control of his powers. Despite some doubts, they continue their travels, and Lloyd joins them out of curiosity.

Upon arriving in Lordost, the group is greeted by a welcome party. Galilea, Talia, and Ren reflect on their past with Jade and how he founded the guild. They recall Jade's leadership and how he gave them hope. Ren, struggling with her emotions, remembers the role Jade played in her life.

As they enter the manor, Jade—now controlled by the demon Guisarme—reveals his true identity and sinister intentions. Guisarme boasts of having taken over Jade's body and mastering teleportation. He recounts how he tortured Jade to gain control and unveils his plan to use the bodies of the Branded, including Ren's.

The guild members, paralyzed by Guisarme's power, express their fear and determination. Despite the dire situation, Ren resists Guisarme's cursed speech and recalls her bond with Jade. When Guisarme demands answers about a protective spell on Ren, Lloyd intervenes, claiming responsibility for the enchantment.

The episode ends with a tense standoff, setting the stage for the confrontation with Guisarme in the next installment.
