Ikenaikyo - Episode 1

In a forest said to be the hiding place of the Demon Lord, a group of soldiers from the kingdom of Neruz pursues a woman named Charlotte Evans. They are warned by a villager about the dangers of the forest but continue their search. Meanwhile, Allen Crawford, who lives in a mansion deep in the woods, finds Charlotte collapsed and takes her in. Allen is confronted by the soldiers, who demand he hand over Charlotte, labeling her a felon. Allen refuses and uses his magical abilities to fend off the soldiers, revealing himself to be the great Demon Lord Phantom Dream.

Charlotte wakes up in Allen's villa and is initially wary but soon realizes that Allen believes in her innocence. She recounts how she was falsely accused of treason and imprisoned by her fiancé, Prince Cecil of the kingdom of Neruz. Allen offers her a job as a maid, which she hesitantly accepts after Allen jokingly threatens to curse himself with a death hex if she refuses.

Allen decides to give Charlotte a "crash course in naughtiness," starting with indulging in cake for dinner. Despite her initial reservations, Charlotte takes pleasure in the simple joy that had been denied to her in her previous life. Allen vows to make her the happiest person in the world by introducing her to various forms of pleasure.
