On the occasion of the cinema release of the anime film "Chō Kaguya-hime!", special drawings and messages from five manga artists have been published. The work is a musical animation inspired by the ancient Japanese tale "Taketori Monogatari".
The direction is by Seigo Yamashita, who is taking on the full-length direction of a production for the first time with this work. Yamashita was previously responsible for the design of opening and ending sequences in various well-known anime series.
The plot of the film follows several girls who are connected through music in a virtual space named Tsukuyomi. For the musical part, renowned composers from the Vocaloid field were secured.
