"I'm the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire!" Anime is scheduled to premiere in April 2025

The anime adaptation of "I'm the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire!", based on the novel by Yomu Mishima, is set to air in April 2025. Along with this announcement, key visuals, a teaser video, as well as information about the cast and staff were released.

The story follows Liam Sera Banfield, a reincarnated man who becomes the head of a count's family and rules over a remote planet of the Algrand Empire. In his previous life, he was taken advantage of due to his kindness, so he decides to live as a "corrupt lord" in his new life, determined to exploit his people. However, despite his intentions, his actions are misunderstood, and people eventually come to admire him as a benevolent ruler.

The voice cast includes Natsuki Hanae as the protagonist Liam Sera Banfield. Reina Ueda voices Amagi, an AI robot who serves Liam as a maid, while Takehito Koyasu plays the mysterious "Guide," the being responsible for Liam's reincarnation. The series is directed by Tetsuya Yanagisawa, with Katsuhiko Takayama handling composition and scriptwriting, and Kazuya Morimae designing the characters. The animation is produced by Quad.
