In Another World With My Smartphone 2 anime revealed to premiere on April 3rd

The start date for the second season of the anime adaptation In Another World With My Smartphone was announced on the series' official website as April 3, along with a new promotional video. The video also previews the opening song "Real Diamond," performed by the seven-member group Gemstone7.



Returning cast members are joined by new additions, including Miyu Takagi as Lucia Rea Regulus, Yū Serizawa as Hildegard Minas Lestia, and Miyu Kubota as Sakura. This season also introduces a new team and animation studio: Yoshiaki Iwasaki directs at J.C. Staff, Deko Akao handles series composition, and Chinatsu Kameyama serves as character designer and chief animation director.

The light novel series In Another World With My Smartphone was first published in 2013 on the website "Shōsetsuka ni Narō" by Patora Fuyuhara. The novels are printed under Hobby Japan's Novel label with illustrations by Eiji Usatsuka. The first season of the anime adaptation premiered in 2017 and consisted of 12 episodes.

The story goes like this: A teenager named Mochizuki Touya dies in a freak accident and wakes up face-to-face with God, who offers to revive him in a fantasy world—even allowing him to bring his smartphone along. Thus begins his anachronistic journey filled with wonders and adventures.
