In Another World With My Smartphone Season 2 Gets First Trailer, Premiering April 2023

The second season of the anime In Another World With My Smartphone has revealed its main theme, the first trailer, and broadcast information. The premiere date is set for April 2023. J.C.STAFF is animating the sequel, which was announced for April 2022. The newly posted illustration shows the protagonist Touya Mochizuki waving at us, surrounded by 9 female characters under a blue sky.



The official website describes the series' plot as follows:

15-year-old Touya Mochizuki wakes up after a bizarre accident in which he was killed by a lightning strike and finds himself face-to-face with God. "I must apologize, as I've made a slight mistake..." laments the old eccentric. But all is not lost! God says he can reincarnate Touya into a fantasy world—and as a bonus, he gets to take his smartphone with him! And so begins Touya's adventure in a new, anachronistic pseudo-medieval world. Friends! Laughter! Tears! Unexplained deus ex machina! He embarks on a journey full of wonders as he absentmindedly travels from place to place, chasing every goal that comes to mind. The curtain rises on an epic tale of swords, sorcery, and smartphone apps!
