Kodansha's Afternoon magazine has published its June issue of this year on Tuesday. In their issue, they had revealed that Riichi Ueshiba is going to launch a new manga titled Okuma-chan Flashback. Riichi will release the manga in the next issue of the magazine on 25th May. According to the official news, the manga will have around four color pages and it will appear on the front cover of the magazine.

The story of the manga focuses on the college girl named Minoru Suzuki. She occasionally gets the vision of her mother’s past.

In 2006, Ueshiba serialised his manga, under the title of Mysterious Girlfriend X, in Afternoon magazine; he ended the manga series in 2014. The 12 compiled book volumes of the series were published by Kodansha. There has already been an animation released which was based on the manga. The animation was streamed by Crunchyroll and licensed by Sentai Filmworks.
Monthly Action magazine of Futabasha had announced its June issue of this year. In this issue, they had revealed that the well-known manga My Brother’s Husband will be ended on 25th May in the next issue of the magazine. This is the manga of Gengoroh Tagame, and it will have a colour opening page for its last edition.

The manga was released by Pantheon Books. The story of the manga according to a news website: This is a family drama manga; the story of the manga revolves around Mike, a Canadian. He learns the real meaning of the family in the manga story. The manga creator highlights the importance and meaning of the family through its manga.

In November 2014, Tagame started serialising the manga in Monthly Action magazine. The third compiled volume of the manga was published by Futabasha in October. The English version of the manga will be shipped by Pantheon Books in June. In 44th annual Angouleme International Comics Festival, the manga was nominated for best comic. In 2015, the manga was also awarded as an excellent manga in Japan Media Arts Festival awards.

My Brother’s Husband manga is being translated by Anne Ishii, and release is being designed by Chip Kidd.

On Friday, during the C2E2 panel of North American Publisher Viz Media they had announced that they had licensed the manga Splatoon of Sankichi Hinoedeya. The company is planning to release the first volume in 2017. The company had also revealed that they will release The Art of My Little Pony: The Movie book in August. They will also release The Hello Kitty & Friends colouring books in October, and Princess Mononoke and Castle in the sky picture book in December.

In May 2015, Hinodeya had released a one-shot manga named Splatoon in Coro Coro Comics of Shogakukan. There were two compiled volumes in July 2016 and January 2017.

The first Splatoon game was released by Nintendo in May 2015 for the Wii U. The game revolved around Inklings who could transform among human and squid form.
There is already a manga named Honobono Ika 4-Koma is released from Kino Takahashi which is based on the first game.
Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine is going to announce their 22nd and 23rd issue of this year. In both of their issues, they will publish the final chapter of Daichi Sorayomi’s Keijo!!! sports manga. According to the official news, the company is planning to ship the manga’s 16th volume in May, 17th volume in June, and 18th Manga in July.

The manga was launched by Sorayomi in Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine in 2013. The 15th compiled volume of the manga was punished on 31st March by Shogakukan.

The manga is based on a story in which a sport named Keijo. There are many types of games in it like boat racing, horse racing, and cycling; on these games, people can do gambling. A high school student, Nozomi Kaminashi, wants to join the game. She does too much practice in gymnastics, and she also has good flexibility. After completing her high school, she joins a training boarding school which opens the gate of Keijo for her.

There is already an animation series has been serialised which is based on the manga. The animation series was released in October, and it was streamed by Crunchyroll. The animation was also streamed by Funimation with English dub.
On Thursday, TOHO had released a new promotional video for the animation Yowamushi Pedal New Generation. The promotional video is showing the arc is focusing on next inter High competition, and the participants for the competition are from Hakone Academy school, Shohoku High School, and Kyoto Fushimi High School. Also, the promotional video is featuring the new characters of the animation that is Hayato Shinakai’s younger brother, and Yuto Shinkai.

The series was released on 9 January in Japan. The animation was streamed by Crunchyroll when it aired in Japan. The series has completed 25 episodes.

The story of the animation is based on Yowamushi Pedal manga. The story focuses on Sakamichi Onoda; he is at Sohoku High School. He is passionate about games and animations. His life gets change when he meets he comes in contact with school’s cycling team. Eventually, he joined the cycle racing team for competitions.

The animation series is directing by Osamu Nabeshima, and the animation script is managing by Kurasumi Sunayama. Yukiko Ban is the character designer, and Hiroyuki Horiuchi is the bike designer. Kan Sawada is the music composer for the animation, and TMS Entertainment is producing the animation series. The opening theme song of the animation, Cadence, is performing by Takaaki Natsushiro while the ending theme song for the animation, Now or Never, is performing by Saeki YouthK.
The well known manga artist, Chihiro Gokitsune, announced on Friday that he is going to lauch a new manga titled Beyblade Soul Taku & Sho. He is planning to release the manga series in the June issue of Corocoro Ichiban! magazine of Shogakukan; The manga will ship on Friday. The character of the manga, Taku and Sho, are based on Bladers who were appear part in OhaSta, it was the program of Sho-Pro and Tokyo.

Gokitsune also worked on the Kamiwaza Wanda manga, which was released in March 2016 in Corocoro Ichiban magazine. Shogakukan is planning to publish the final volume of the manga on 28th April.

Beyblade of Takara Tom had inspired a manga series which had been serialized from 2000-2003. In 2004-2006, Viz Media released a 14 Volume series in North America. There were three television animation series inspired by the manga that is Beyblade, Beyblade G, and Beyblade: V-Force. There was also a film inspired by the manga Beyblade: Shogun Steel. Beyblade manga was released in July 2015.
On Monday, Weekly Shonen Jump magazine had announced its 20th issue of this year. In 20th issue, they revealed that Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro will release a latest one-shot manga under the title of Chingiri. They had also informed that they will release this one-shot manga in the 21st and 22nd issue of the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine; the manga will ship in Japan on 24th April. According to the news, this 19-page manga will have colour pages. This manga is completely based on a man who is seasoned in every kind of martial arts.

Recently, Shimabukuro had published a 29-page manga under the title of Warai no Oji Penpenpen; the manga was released on 1 April in the may issue of the weekly Shonen Jump magazine.

In November, Mitsutoshi ended his manga Toriko. Since 2008, the manga had been serializing in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, and it continuously serialized for 8 years. On 31st December, Shueisha published the manga’s final and 43rd volume. The manga was digitally published by Viz Media on 2nd May.

There was also a 147-episodes television animation created on the basis of the manga which was serialized from 2011 to 2014. The series was streamed by Crunchyroll, and released on DVD by FUNimation.
On Friday, FUNimation had announced that it has licensed the television animation series Record of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight, and also licensed the Record of Lodoss War video animation.

Funimation is planning to release the OVA series on a DVD and Blu-ray disc. They will publish the television animation series on DVD. They will release the both on 18th July in one box set.

Record of Lodoss War was started as an article series of magazine. Then after some time it also got involved into a novel series by Ryo Mizuno and till now it has over 10 Million copies in print. Record of Lodoss War had also been adapted into a video animation series in 1990 under the same title, and in 1998 Record of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight television animation was also published. These both animations were licensed by Central Park Media in North America.

The novel Record of Lodoss War: The Grey Witch will be released by Seven Seas Entertainment on 31st October; the novel is the original work of Mizuno.
On Monday, Toho Animation had released a first announcement video for the upcoming animation film Yoake Tsugeru Lu no Uta. Masaaki Yuasa is the director of the animation film. The video is narrating by Soma Saito and a short interview with Kanon Tani. The video is also featuring the theme song of the animation which is performed by Kazuyoshi Saito i.e. Uta Utai no Ballad.

The company is planning to release the animation movie on 19th May in Japan. The animation is Yuasa’s first animation movie. The story revolves around a boy named Kai, he moves to Hinashi, which is usually famous town for fishing, from Tokyo. His father and mother got separated, and this incident leaves a life changing impact on Kai. Now he is living with his grandfather. He is passionate about music and frequently uploads his composed music on the internet.

The cast for the animation is Kanon Tani as Lu, Shota Shimoda as Kai, Shinichi Shinohara as Lu’s father, Akira Emoto as the grandfather, Soma Saito as Kunio, and Minako Kotobuki as Yuko.

Reiko Yoshida is managing the script of the animation, and Yoko Nemu is the character designer. Nobutake is the animation director, and Eriko Kimura is a sound director. Takatsugu Muramatsu is the music composer, and Eunyoung Choi Heart is the producer.

On 23 March, Funimation published the second promotion video for the animation for the dubbed animation series. On 1st April, the series was released in Japan with English subtitles on Hulu and Crunchyroll.

Last April, Anime’s first season had published with 13 episodes on TBS/MBS channels. The series was streamed with English subtitles, by Funimation, in the countries like Ireland, United States, and Canada.
