"Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? (DanMachi) fifth season confirmed

The popular anime series "Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?" has been officially confirmed for a fifth season. This announcement was accompanied by a teaser, a special promotional video, and a new logo. The original series' author, Fujino Omori, also released a message regarding this announcement.

The reveal took place during the "Holy Fire Festival (Westa Party) in the Hearth Mansion," an event in Tokyo celebrating the tenth anniversary of the original light novel series. Omori expressed his excitement about the fifth season and hinted that the next season will focus on the themes of "love" and "emptiness." Details about the new season will be announced shortly.

The anime is an adaptation of the light novel series published by GA Bunko, set in the city of Orario, which is built around a massive underground labyrinth. It follows the adventures of Bell, an adventurer longing for romantic encounters, and the goddess Hestia, who faces the challenges and camaraderie of the dungeon-exploring world. Since the first season aired in 2015, the series has grown to a fourth season, with a film and animations also developed for the series' growing audience.
