In the sixth episode, Bell Cranel learns that his precious memories of the goddess Hestia and his friends are an illusion, caused by a powerful curse that sows confusion within him. Yet Bell refuses to let go of these memories. Meanwhile, Freya tightens her control over Orario by ordering Horn to subjugate everyone—even the dungeon's inhabitants and outsiders—to her influence.

Freya meets with Ouranos and suggests he stay out of her plans to claim Bell entirely for herself. In return, she promises that her Familia will delve deeper into the dungeon and attempt to conquer it. Reluctantly, Ouranos agrees to turn a blind eye to her schemes. Under Freya's influence, Hestia and others no longer recognize Bell.

Desperate for the truth, Bell confronts Freya. He challenges her to prove he belongs to her Familia by updating his status—something only his true god could do. Freya uses a rare artifact called the "Status Sniffer" to alter his status, leaving Bell in despair. He begins rigorous training with the Freya Familia, but struggles to hold onto his identity and true memories.

Freya continues her manipulation, trying to make Bell dependent on her affection. At the same time, Eina Tulle of the Guild senses something is amiss but is intercepted by Freya before she can uncover the truth. The episode ends with Bell doubting his reality and yearning for his genuine connections, while Freya remains determined to fully claim his heart and mind.
