The Demon Lord confronts Maria and Caria and explains that their destruction is necessary to fulfill his pact with God and attain freedom. His "Dark Barrier," which only a hero can negate, is unexpectedly broken through by the girls, forcing him into his true form.

During the battle, the twins reaffirm their disbelief in God and question the reliability of such faith. The Demon Lord heals his wounds through pure will, convinced of God's support. Before he can utter God's name, his declaration is interrupted by a mysterious student who intervenes and halts the battle.

Atou appears on Takuto's command to retrieve the twins. A confrontation ensues, but it is resolved when Maria and Caria are reminded of their mother's words. They apologize and obediently return.

Takuto realizes he has encountered an enemy with RPG game mechanics and that there may be others with different abilities. He reanalyzes the situation and concludes that he himself is a unit in this world. Before his followers, he apologizes for his past mistakes and announces an ambitious new plan: achieving the "Ascension Victory," which would mean the revival of Isla and the restoration of all losses. This plan will require the conquest of the world and provoke the resistance of all other peoples.

Despite the enormous challenges and initial concerns from Atou, his followers, including Maria and Caria, resolutely join his endeavor. Takuto, strengthened by their loyalty, decides to personally lead his strategy and guide Mynoghra to victory.
