The episode begins with the preparations of the Paladins Verdel and Lonius for their mission in the Cursed Land. During their journey, they discuss the Northern Disturbance in the Holy Kingdom of Qualia, where barbarians have raided villages and caused significant damage. Rumors suggest that a witch may be responsible for these disturbances, which Lonius, however, considers impossible, as the Holy Soalina and the army have been dispatched for control. Verdel, more pragmatic in his approach, focuses on their current mission and warns his companions to remain vigilant.

Simultaneously, King Takuto Ira continues the development of Mynoghra. He and Atou celebrate the successful production of new units – the Long-legged Beetles – through normal production, paving the way for the summoning of a hero. Takuto chooses Isla, the Queen of Beetles, as she can enhance insect units and produce labor, and is considered a viable option compared to other heroes with problematic personalities.

While Takuto and Atou discuss the strategic advantages of Isla, the paladin investigation team approaches the forest of Mynoghra. Verdel and Lonius lead a group of mercenaries to investigate the Apocalypse Omen. Atou confronts them as an alleged Dark Elf who merely wishes to live in peace with her companions and attempts to persuade them to withdraw. Verdel is initially willing to take her at her word, but Lonius senses an evil energy within her and insists on an investigation.

The situation escalates when Lonius relieves Verdel of command and orders Atou's capture. Atou warns them of the consequences, but Lonius remains stubborn. The episode ends with the revelation of Atou as a "witch," hinting at an inevitable conflict. This confrontation marks Mynoghra's first interaction with another nation and sets the plot in motion for future clashes.
