The episode begins with the confrontation between Atou and the investigation team of the Holy Kingdom of Qualia, led by the paladins Verdel and Lonius. Atou attempts to persuade the group to withdraw peacefully, asserting that the forest's inhabitants merely wish to live in peace. Verdel is initially willing to accept this, but Lonius insists on investigating the forest due to the suspicion of an impending catastrophe.

The conflict escalates when Lonius relieves Verdel of command and orders Atou's capture. Atou then reveals herself as the "Witch" feared by Qualia and engages the troops in combat. She demonstrates overwhelming power, kills Verdel, and through her unique ability steals not only his skills but also his memories and knowledge.

After annihilating the entire Qualia team, Atou returns to Takuto. Through Verdel's stolen memories, Takuto and Atou learn of the existence of another threat: Erakino, the "Slurping Witch," who is responsible for the unrest in northern Qualia and possesses hero-level powers.

These new revelations force Takuto to adjust his strategy. He decides to prioritize summoning a new hero to increase Mynoghra's military strength and for the first time considers forging an alliance with a neutral nation in the east to better counter the threats from Qualia and the unknown witch.
