The episode begins with the completion of Mynoghra's palace, an important milestone in the nation's development. Takuto and Atou celebrate this progress, but Atou notices with concern that Takuto has no personal servants. At Takuto's wish for someone he can easily talk to, young girls are gathered as candidates. Among them, the twin sisters Maria and Caria Elfuur are selected, although Elder Moltar expresses concerns due to their traumatic past.

Maria and Caria carry a dark history with them: They suffered from a famine that led them to eat their own mother out of desperation in order to survive. This has left deep feelings of guilt and psychological scars on them, which show in their reserved and insecure demeanor. Takuto nevertheless chooses them as his servants to give them a chance for healing and a new future.

During their service, the twins ask Takuto a crucial question: "Are you an evil person?" Takuto uses this opportunity to explain his understanding of "evil" in this world. He explains that being evil does not mean acting cruelly or murderously, but having the freedom to act according to one's own desires and convictions – be it good or bad. This philosophy helps the twins process their own guilt and find a new meaning in their lives.

In parallel, Mynoghra's development continues to progress. In a council meeting, progress in construction projects, resource management, and research is discussed. The construction of a clinic is approved to ensure the citizens' health, and research into the six main elements of magic begins to expand the nation's magical abilities. Furthermore, preparations for the summoning of Isla, the Queen of Bugs, continue, with only the required mana still missing.

At the same time, Mynoghra explores the surrounding areas and discovers the neutral city of Dragontan, which is inhabited by a multiracial society and possesses a valuable dragon vein mine that can produce mana. The city is currently plagued by barbarian attacks, which presents potential refugees and diplomatic opportunities for Mynoghra. Takuto and Atou consider sending a delegation to build relationships and gain access to the city's resources.

The episode ends with the first diplomatic considerations regarding Dragontan, while Maria and Caria begin to find their way in their new role and slowly overcome their trauma.
