The popular manga series "Isekai Munchkin: Saikyō Saikyoku Dungeon Kōryaku HP 1 no Mama de" by Yuu Shimizu and Ryou Aogiri is being adapted into a TV anime. A first teaser image has been released, showing the protagonist Yukito and his companion Charlotte, ready for their next adventure.

"Isekai Munchkin" is based on the world of tabletop role-playing games. The story begins with Yukito Kirihara, a student and avid tabletop gamer, who is suddenly attacked and killed by a monster while playing with his beloved sister Sana. After his death, he encounters the goddess Nefilia in the fantasy world of Everworld and is given the chance for a new life. In Nefilia's magical "World Book," Yukito discovers his sister's name and steals the powerful book to be reborn in Everworld as a seasoned "Munchkin" with refined abilities, navigating the adventure-filled world full of loopholes and rules.

The manga is currently serialized in Monthly Shonen Sirius, with Volume 11 set to release on November 8. The anime is directed by Mamoru Yokota, known for his work as an animation supervisor on Kinnikuman. The young animation studio Durandal, founded in 2022, is handling the production.
