Kōichi Yamadera was announced as a new addition to the cast, voicing the character Shalk the Sound Slicer. Other notable actors include Yuuki Kaji, Reina Ueda, Jun Fukuyama, Akio Ohtsuka, Romi Park, Sōichiro Hoshi, Showtaro Morikubo, Sora Amamiya, Aoi Yūki, Mamiko Noto, and Rie Takahashi, each voicing different characters in the series.
The anime will be available exclusively on the streaming platform Disney+ for a global audience. The adaptation is led by Takeo Takahashi as the chief director, while Yuki Ogawa directs at Passione.
