Although he fights as a monster against the humans who were supposed to be defeated, Higuare manages to turn the tables and win the admiration of the audience thanks to his unparalleled skills and deadly poison. Higuare's disdain for the inferior enemies sent by the Demon King drives him to seek a worthy challenge, leading him to Lithia.

After the bloody sands of the arena, the episode shifts to a quieter yet no less intense narrative thread featuring Kuze, a new character tasked with protecting Nihilo the Vortical Stampede. Kuze, a holy man whose demeanor is as serene as his faith, is wrongfully accused by the Lithian guards. The confrontation reveals an unexpected ally: Nastique, the silent songstress, an angelic figure whose deadly intervention brings both protection and burden for Kuze.
