For the upcoming anime remake of Jigoku Sensei Nūbē – Hell Teacher Nūbē, the producers today presented another extensive preview video as well as a fresh key visual. The first section of the clip shows various Yōkai chasing the students, while the second half depicts a heated battle between the titular teacher Nūbē and his rival Tamamo. The new image captures exactly this moment: Nūbē's demon hand clashes with Tamamo's spear-like sasumata – a scene that visually encapsulates the central conflict of the series.

At the same time, the theme songs were confirmed. The opening is by the rock group -Shintenchi Kaibyaku Shūdan- ZIGZAG with the track „P0WER – Akuryō Taisan“, while the ending song „Himawari“ is contributed by Chilli Beans.. Both tracks can already be heard briefly in the new video. The singers expressed enthusiasm: ZIGZAG frontman -mikoto- emphasized the thematic closeness of his band to the material, while Chilli Beans. described their lyrics as a trusting student perspective toward a strong teacher.

The series adapts the manga of the same name by Shō Makura (story) and Takeshi Okano (art). The main character is teacher Meisuke Nueno, nicknamed Nūbē, who is equipped with a cursed demon hand. He vigorously defends his class against Yōkai, evil spirits, and other supernatural threats, evolving into an unconventional hero in the process. The role of Nūbē is once again voiced by Ryōtarō Okiayu.

In addition to the first story arc, it has already been confirmed that a second part will follow in early 2026.
