In episode 2, the story continues to focus on the blossoming friendship between Nishimura and Takada. While Nishimura is burdened by her nickname "Grim Reaper," she is surprised by Takada's positive attitude and his eagerness to spend time with her.

During lunch break, Nishimura's classmates hesitate to eat the curry she serves, fearing her alleged curse. Takada, on the other hand, enthusiastically accepts the curry and even asks for seconds, wanting to become a "Dark Eater"—a concept Nishimura is unfamiliar with.

When the students take group photos, Nishimura's classmates believe a ghost appears in the pictures with her, but Takada doesn’t see it that way. Instead, he appreciates her presence, even in photos.

Later, Takada and Nishimura visit a bookstore and are invited by his sister Yukiko to Takada’s house. Yukiko dresses Nishimura in pretty clothes and encourages her to cultivate her own style instead of conforming to her nickname. Yukiko also reveals how much Takada talks about Nishimura, hinting at the strong bond between the two friends.

Back at school, some classmates warn Takada about Nishimura’s supposed unlucky aura, claiming it will negatively affect him. However, Takada remains optimistic, believing that his luck with Nishimura outweighs any potential misfortune.
