"Jitsu wa Ore, Saikyou deshita" ("Turns Out, I'm the Strongest") begins with our protagonist, who was a social recluse in his previous life, being given the chance to be reborn in a magical fantasy world. Nevertheless, he wishes for a peaceful life without grand adventures and looks forward to a simple existence.
He is reborn as a member of the royal family, but due to a measurement error in the kingdom's magical assessment tool, his magical power is mistakenly displayed as "2" instead of "1002." Because of this, he is seen as a weakling and is abandoned by his royal family in a remote forest to avoid bringing shame upon the kingdom.
In the forest, he encounters a terrifying magical creature—a Flame Fenrir. However, thanks to his communication skills and protective barrier, he manages to form a pact with this creature, whom he names "Flay."
Later, a man claiming to be a relative appears to rescue him. He misunderstands Flay's loyalty and offers to take in both the protagonist and Flay, provided Flay acts as their servant. The man has brought much-needed food for the young protagonist and offers him a chance at a new life.
Nine years later, the protagonist, now named Haruto, has settled into his new life under the care of Margrave Gold. Although he has difficulties with his new sister Charlotte, he enjoys his tranquil lifestyle.
The episode ends with a glimpse of Haruto's true potential as he receives swordsmanship training from his new father.
